Up North

I'm just about to go up north to Bluefin Bay (it's near Lake Superior). And I'm really tired.

Maybe I'll update the blog later to talk about it.

Btw, I forgot to mention that 4ish days ago it was Gremlin's Place 1st anniversary. Yay.

LOTR

Alright. So, watching all three LOTR movies down in the basement during a beautiful, hot, sunny summer day, but to be honest, I'm glad I did it. Because it was totally and completely worth it. Sucked out my entire day, yes, but it was fun.

I started watching them at around 10:30(am), and would stop periodically after each film, while the credits rolled, to get some food, say hi to my parents, before going downstairs and starting a new movie. When I needed to move I acted parts of the movie out. But otherwise, watching them all in a row just made me fall in love with Lord of the Rings more and more. They're just simply great, and with more messages and themes about friendship and loyalty than you'd expect from a fantasy epic.

Overrall, it was a really fun day. Maybe I'll do it again sometime, if it's like, pouring rain out or else just a crappy day in general.

I highly reccomend doing this, for anyone who likes LOTR. Or, if you don't, just sit down and watch a series till you drop.

Oh, and last night I had a dream our school was being overrun by orcs (yay!). Then my dream switched and I had to bake cupcakes for Pippin's grandmother. Bah. That's what I get for watching 12 hours of LOTR.

But, no lies. I had those dreams, and both of them were epic ('cept for when I put the blue frosting in the milk and I got whipped... >_>)

But, anyway, I'm gonna be fairly busy for the next sixish days. I'll be going to a certain cabin this weekend, then will be going up north immediately the following day after I get back from the certain cabin to go up north to Bluefin Bay. So that should be fun :D

Okay. Suckish feeling gone. I feel so peaceful right now. I've got this whole summer ahead of me, and just the thought of that makes me all giddy and excited.

I was gonna post about the party after everyone left, but I'll do that later. Bye!

I feel so giddy right now. Oh my god. Summer. Summer summer summer. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!

*sigh*...

Now I can just squeeze all of school out of me and enjoy the three months of bliss.

Minus the summer reading, of course.

But still.

SUMMER!

Although I do have some regrets mixed in with my happy feelings. It kinda sucks that I won't be able to see my teachers today, and that I won't see the end-of-year video thing, because I've always loved those (6th grade one was the best imo). Did I mention it sucks I won't be able to see my teachers again?

Oh yeah.

The prospect of being a freshman doesn't really appeal to me either. I'm trying not to care, saying the stuff I used to say to myself ALL the time, that you can still visit teachers, being older doesn't mean you have to act older, for god's sake you're still a little girl to some people's eyes, etc. etc., but the idea of having one year left at South View before moving onto the freaking High School scares the crap out of me.

Oh well. Probably by the end of the day I'll be completely fine and not worry about the future and what it holds. I just have these temporary periods of sadness when I think about growing older in general >:I

But anyway, I'll be able to play WoW more! WOW, what a prospect! I can't wait. I WILL get Brin to 70 this summer. I will. She's almost level 68 anyway, so I don't think I'll have too much trouble. It's taken over a year, but hey, at least I've got my priorities in the right place, eh?

Well, no. That's just cause of laziness. Gack.
